2015: INDOOR: Ran an indoor personal-best in the 800 meters at the UNI-Dome Open (2/20), winning the event with a time of 2:18.27 … finished second in her heat at the Iowa Big 4 Duals (1/24) in the 600 yards with a personal-best of 1:26.18.
2015: OUTDOOR: Recorded a personal record in the 800 meters at the MVC Championships (5/15), running a time of 2:12.74 … placed third in the 800 meters at the Wisconsin Open (5/8) with a time of 2:13.65 … was a part of the 4X800 meter relay team that ran the fourth fastest time in UNI history at the Drake Relays (4/22) … was named to the MVC Honor Roll.
2014: INDOOR: Did not compete.
2014: OUTDOOR: Ran a personal-best in the 800 meters at the Jim Duncan Invitational (4/11) with a time of 2:23.35.
High School: Earned second-team All-Conference in cross country in 2010 and 2011 … named first team All-Conference NICL in 2009-10 … two-time state champion in the 800 meters and holds the school record in the event … was part of the state championship winning 4X800 meter relay, NICL Championship 4X800 meter relay and NICL Championship distance medley relay teams in 2012 … also lettered in basketball, earning All-Conference honorable mention status and being named the team captain from 2011-13.
Personal: Daughter of Rick and Sherry Kite … was part of the Honor Roll from 2009-13 … NICL All-Academic Cross Country team in 2011 … was named to the All-Academic team for basketball and cross country for the 2011-12 school year … majoring in health promotion.
