2017 INDOOR: Participated in the high jump at the Hawkeye Invitational (1/13) placing 6th with a jump of 5’1”...Jumped 5’3” at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (1/20)...Had another 5’3” jump at the 2017 Jack Jennett Open (1/26) to finish 3rd...Finished 4th with a jump of 5’1.25” at the 2017 Mark Messersmith Invitational (1/28)...Had a jump of 5’1” at the Iowa Open (2/17)...Participated in the 2017 MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships (2/25), finishing 11th with a jump of 5’1.25”...Placed 2nd at the Cyclone Duals (12/18) with a jump of 5’3”.
2017 OUTDOOR: Jumped 4’11.5” at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic (3/25) placing 6th...Placed 2nd at the Wartburg Outdoor Select (3/31) with a jump of 5’0.5”...At the Musco Twilight (4/22) had a jump of 4’11”...Jumped 5’1” at the Wisconsin Alumni classic (5/5) to place 12th.
High School: Lettered in track and field at Iowa Valley High School ... is a three-time Drake Relays and state meet qualifier ... placed sixth overall in the high jump at the Drake Relays her junior year ... has placed in the top-eight all four years of high school in the high jump at the state meet ... finished in third overall and second as a junior ... also qualified in the 400 meter hurdles and is a two-time medalist in the event ... four-time state qualifier in the 4X800 meter relay and also helped her 4X400 meter relay team qualify three consecutive years.
Personal: Daughter of Ty and Sheri ... has two siblings, Cherisse and Brody ... majoring in secondary education.
