OUTDOOR: Clocked a 3,000m time of 9:12.99 at the Iowa Invitational (4/17) ... recorded a 5,000m time of 15:58.41 at the Jim Duncan Invitational (4/10).
High School: Four-time letterwinner in both cross country and track for Mason City Newman Catholic High School ...Three-time state cross country qualifier in Class 1A (2005-07)...Two-time state track qualifier in both the 1600 meters and the 3200 meters (2007-08)...Team finished in 10th place at state cross country in 2005...also a wrestling letterwinner for Newman Catholic in 2008...Participated in band and jazz band, and was an Honor Roll student.
