TOPEKA, Kansas--The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming team finished up competition today at the Big Challenge, hosted by the University of Kansas. The Panthers finished in fourth place, with 404 points.

Katie Taylor continued to break records, shattering the 200 backstroke record. Taylor timed in at two minutes, one second and twenty-five hundredths of a second to place a new school record.

Crystal Florman swam into second place in the 100 freestyle, timing in at 51.02. Molly Lembezeder finished in fourth place with a time of 51.41.

Florman and Lembezeder would team up with Autumn Roepsch and Aftin Phyfe for a fourth place finish in the 400 freestyle, timing in at 3:26.39.

Kylie Engstrom led a team of top-16 finishes in the 1650 freestyle. Engstrom swam in at 17:38.58 and would be followed by Rachel Siebenaller at 17:41.33. Jordan McCullough rounded out the group at 18:01.94.

Moriah Ross and Veronica Herrmann both had top-16 finishes in the 200 breaststroke. Ross timed in at 2:02.28 and Herrmann finished at 2:21.29.

Stephanie Jackson timed in at 2:08.32 in the 200 butterfly for a top-16 finished. Kelsey Ostrowski would join Jackson in the top-16, timing in at 2:09.67.

Junior Molly Lembezeder and Freshman Katie Taylor were both named to the All-Star Team.

The Panthers swimming and diving team will be in action at the UNO Invitational, Dec. 2-4 in Omaha, Nebraska.
