2016-17: Swam to third place in the 100 breaststroke, timing in at 1:02.69….Took sixth in the 200 breaststroke, swimming a 2:17.75…..Teamed up with Taylor, Florman and Phyfe for a second place finish and new UNI record in the 400 medley relay, swimming a 3:43.50…..Named to the First Team All Conference….Named to the Scholar-Athlete Team.....Competed in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events at the Big Challenge (11/18-11/20)....Swam a 1:04.33 for a top-10 finish in the 100 breaststroke and a 2:21.29 in the 200 breaststroke respectively….Had season best times at the UNO Invite (12/1-12/3) in the 100 butterfly and 200 IM…..Swam to a time of 59.75 in the 100 butterfly and a 2:13.65 in the 200 IM….Swam with Rinaldi, Ostrowski, and Siebenaller for a 3:52.79 in the 400 medley relay and second place (12/1-12/3)....Teamed up with Taylor, Ross and Lembezeder for a first place finish in the 200 medley relay, swimming a 1:47.56 (12/1-12/3)....Competed in all meets this season
2015-16: Named to the Scholar-Athlete Team...Named to the 1st Team All-Conference….Received two B Cuts at the MVC Championships (2/20)....First place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:15.55, breaking her school record and getting a B Cut…. First place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.99, earning a B Cut (2/19).....Broke the school record with Madison Rinaldi, Crystal Florman and Aftin Phyfe in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:44.83 (2/19)....Swam a Top-20 time in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.13 (2/18)....Took home first place in the 200 medley relay with Molly Lembezeder, Crystal Florman and Madison Rinaldi, timing in at 1:42.37 (2/17)....Shy of second place in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:25.49. First place in the 200 Medley Relay with Madison Rinaldi, Crystal Florman and Molly Lembezeder for a time of 1:47.75 (1/23)…First place in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke events with times of 1:05.36 and 2:22.96 (1/15)…Barley missed getting into the Top-10 in the 200 Breaststroke race with a time of 2:21.25. Also swam a 1:04.60 in the 100 Breaststroke and in the 100 Butterfly time of 59.75. 200 IM time of 2:11.14 (12/4-6)…Swam a time of 1:04.60 at Kansas Invite (11/20-22)…Swam a time of 1:05.88 in 100 Backstroke and a 2:25.46 in the 200 Backstroke (11/14)…Swam a time of 1:00.85 in the 100 Butterfly (11/7)…. Third place in the 200 Medley Relay with Aftin Phyfe, Kelsey Ostrowski, and Autumn Roepsch for a time of 1:50.22 (10/23)….100 breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke, with times of 1:14.67 and 2:44.98 respectively (10/22)… Competed in the 100 breaststroke, with a time of 1:06.81 and the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:25.69 to open the season (10/16)…Named to Big Challenge All-Star Team (11/22)
2014-15: Honored as a scholar-athlete (MVC Team)....Third-place finish in the 200 breaststroke at the MVC Championships (2/20)....prelim time of 2:20.03 set a new school record.......finals time of 2:19.71 re-broke that record....Captured a fourth-place finish in 100 breaststroke in the final with a new school-record time of 1:03.76.....Combined with Aftin Phyfe, Molly Lembezeder, and Taylor Ostrowski in the 400 medley relay for a new school record checking in at 3:48.66, besting the previous record set in 2014 of 3:51.28, at the MVC Championships (2/20)
2013: took third place in the 100 breaststroke at SDSU (10/25) ... Recorded first collegiate victory in the 100 breaststroke at USD, placed 2nd in the 200 breaststroke (10/26) ... Won the 200 breaststroke vs North Dakota (11/1) ... Placed in the top half of both the 100 & 200 breaststroke at the Kansas Classic Invitational. 12th in the 100 and 13th in the 200 (11/22-24) ... 200 Medley Relay team took 2nd place at UNO Invitational, placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke, finished second in the 100 breaststroke (12/6-7) ... 200 Medley relay team took third place vs Nebraska, finished fourth place in the 50 breaststroke, placed second in the 100 breaststroke (12/13) ... Finished second in the 100 breaststroke at Illinois St., placed second in the 200 breaststroke (1/11) ... 200 Medley Relay team finished third vs Nebraska-Omaha, 100 breaststroke runner up, first-place in the 200 breaststroke (1/24) ... 100 breaststroke runner up vs Iowa State, 200 breaststroke runner up, fourth-place finish in the 200 IM (1/25) ... Finished 200 IM in a time good for ninth on the UNI all-time list at MVC Championships, 200 medley relay team placed sixth & recorded second fastest time in UNI history, took fifth in the 100 breaststroke & set a new UNI school record, placed fifth in the 200 breaststroke & set a new UNI school record (2/13-15)
High School: All-conference and all-state all four years at Century High School … State champion in the 100 yard breaststroke her senior year and helped lead her high school to state championships in 2009-2011 … Part of 200 medley relay team that set new state record her senior year … All-American scholar her junior and senior year … Team captain her senior year … Member of National Honor Society
Personal: Born April 5, 1995 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota… Daughter of Wayne and Becky Herrmann… Has one brother, Roger (21), and one sister Vanessa (13)… Majoring in Biology with a minor in chemistry… Hobbies include running, reading, dancing and singing
