2015: INDOOR: Scored team points in the high jump at the MVC Championships (2/28), placing fourth overall with a height of 5-5.25 … won the high jump at the UNI-Dome Open (2/20) … notched a career-best in the high jump at the Iowa State Classic (2/13), jumping 5-8.00 to rank her fifth all-time at UNI … also finished with a PR in the triple jump at the UNI Team Invitational (1/31) with a mark of 35-10.50.
2015: OUTDOOR: Had a season-best height of 5-6.00 at the Wisconsin Open (5/8) to place third overall … tied for second overall in the high jump at the Gibson Invitational (4/16) with a mark of 5-5.00 … won the high jump at the ESU Spring Open (3/28) … earned the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and was named to the MVC Honor Roll.
2014: INDOOR: Set an indoor personal-best in the high jump at the Jack Johnson Classic (1/24) with a height of 5-4.25 … also competed in the triple jump twice, coming away with a personal-best of 35-6.75 at the Iowa Big Four Duals (1/18).
2014: OUTDOOR: Finished with an outdoor personal-best of 5-3.75 at the Jim Duncan Invitational (4/11) … placed third overall in the high jump at the Wartburg Outdoor Twilight (4/22) … was named to the MVC Honor Roll.
High School: Lettered in track and field all four years at Davis Count High School … holds school records in the 100 meter hurdles and the shuttle hurdle relay … has the fourth-best high jump mark in school history … placed third in the 100 meter hurdles and seventh in the high jump at the 2013 state meet … helped her team to Conference Championships in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and District Team Championships in 2011 and 2013 … also lettered in cheerleading.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Therese Sharp … has four siblings, Amanda, Hayleigh, Jaylynn and Jaxson … was a part of the National Honor Society and the Honor Roll … graduated with Academic Honors … was academic All-State in track and field and cheerleading … majoring in elementary education.
