Thomas Yezek, who continues to hold the top discus throw in the Missouri Valley Conference discus, took silver in the event with a toss of 54.44 meters (178 feet, 7 inches).
Darius King pulled out of the university division for men's shot put to compete in the elite division, which included the world record holder Ryan Crouser. The field also included Italy's Nick Ponzio and Payton Otterdahl, who are both in the top-15 world rankings.
King took fifth with a throw of 19.19 meters (62-11.5).
On the women's side, the Panthers' 4x100 finished fourth with Rylan Santi, Jill Bennett, Libby Wedewer and Paishence Johnson combined for a time of 46.32 seconds.
