UNI Cross Country Takes the Course at NCAA Midwest Region

Time: Women 10:30 a.m. | Men 11:30 a.m. CT

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - UNI Cross Country travel to Stillwater, Oklahoma to compete in the NCAA Midwest Regional Cross Country Meet.

The Panther men jumped into the USTFCCA Midwest Region Top-15 After placing third at the Missouri Valley Conference meet. Oklahoma State University will host the meet in Stillwater at the University Cross Country Course.

The women will race a 6k at 10:30 a.m. and the men will follow with a 10k at 11:30 a.m.Friday Qualifying times will advance to Tarra Haute, Indiana to race in the NCAA Cross Country National Championship Meet, Saturday, November 23rd.

Seniors Wal Khat and CJ May are set to lead the men after their 5th and 6th place finishes at the MVC Championships. Drake Henrichs, Logan Murray and Sam McCool assisted the Panthers to the men's highest MVC Championship placing since winning the title in 2003. David Holesinger and Andrew Kephart will also race with the team in Stillwater.

Junior McKayla Cole leads the women in the 6k race after her twelfth-place finish at the MVC Championships. Paige Holub, Katie Nimrod, Haylee Luna and Cassidy Ihns will also take the course for UNI. After battling wrought conditions at the MVC Championship in Indiana, the Panthers are ready to battle in Stillwater on Friday.
