RESULTS
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The UNI women's golf team sits in fourth place after hitting back-to-back rounds of 314 in the first day of the Diane Thomason Invitational at the Finkbine Golf Course on the campus of the University of Iowa.
Anne Gradoville is tied for sixth place after two rounds, hitting a 76 in the first round and a 78 in the second. Emily Snelling is tied for 11th overall with a two-round score of 156. Sydney Eaton is tied for 18th with a score of 158. Hannah Bermel is tied for 25th and Sarah McMichael sits in a tie for 42nd.
Gradoville birdied the par-5 11th in both of today's rounds.
Iowa leads the team competition, North Dakota State is second and Southern Illinois is third five strokes ahead of the Panthers.
The third and final round of the tournament takes place Sunday. The shotgun start is slated for 9 a.m.
