Women's Golf Finish 10th in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida- The UNI women's golf team finished their first tournament of the year in 10th place. The Panthers wrapped up play in the Babs Steffens Hatter Classic at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Sophomore Sydney Eaton captured another top ten finish, placing 8th with a solid third round performance, finishing of two under par with a three day total of 225.

Emily Snelling and Sarah McMichael were tied for the second lowest score for the Panthers today with +6 over, 78. Hannah Bermel finished with a third round 79. Hailey Bermel ended with a 82 and Anne Gradoville carded an 84.

The Panthers carded the lowest score of the season with a third round total of 309. Finishing with a three day total of 959 the Panthers were 58 strokes behind the tournament champions of Lamar.

The Panthers next tournament will be in Peoria, Illinois hosted by Bradley on March 30th and 31st.
