UNI Women’s Golf Returns to Action at Jackrabbit Invitational

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI women's golf team keeps its fall schedule rolling with a quick turnaround from the Diane Thomason Invitational earlier this week to the Jackrabbit Invitational this weekend at Grand Falls Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa.
This year's Jackrabbit Invitational will consist of three total rounds with two rounds (36 holes) on Saturday and one final round (18 holes) on Sunday. Live Results will be made available online through Scoreboard.
Set on the par-72, 6,090-yard Grand Falls Golf Resort and Casino, the Panthers will be competing against a four-team field including South Dakota State (host), Austin Peay, University of Sioux Falls, and Wayne State (Nebraska).
Last season, the UNI women placed ninth out of 15 teams at the Jackrabbit Invitational. Sophomore Isabella Pettersen placed in a three-way tie for 49th with a score of 234 (+18). McKenna Mallow finished in a three-way tie for 61st place, shooting 239 (+23), while Addison Berg placed in a tie for 86th, scoring 259 (+43), competing as an individual.
Northern Iowa hits the links again after placing 15th at the Diane Thomason Invitational. The Panther Pack was led by Jane Petersen, who placed in a five-way tie for 26th, shooting a score of 231 (+15). Addison Berg and McKenna Mallow followed with a 10-way tie for 54th, carding a 238 (+22) and a three-way tie for 66th place with a final score of 240 (+24), respectively. Hannah Graves finished in a tie for 82nd place, shooting 247 (+31), while Greenlee Smock rounded out the tournament in 90th place with a score of 277 (+61).
