Waterloo, Iowa---The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will end their home stretch this weekend, hosting Evansville and Viterbo.Â
The Panthers (8-1-1, 1-0 MVC) are led offensively by Sarah Brandt and Brynell Yount, who have six and five goals respectively.Â
The Panthers and the Purple Aces of Evansville (4-7, 0-1 MVC) will start action Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. In the last meeting, the Aces earned a 3-1 win over Northern Iowa on October 2, 2016, at Arad McCutchan Stadium. The Aces lead the series 13-3-2.Â
Evansville's last win over UNI in Cedar Falls came in 2013 when the Aces earned a 2-1 overtime victory over the Panthers.
The Viterbo V-Hawks (3-4-3) and Panthers will meet for the fourth time in program history on Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. UNI leads the series 1-0-2. The V-Hawks came to Cedar Falls on Sept. 25, 2016, where the Panthers posted a 2-0 victory.Â
Monday's match against Viterbo will be senior night for the Panthers. UNI will honor the seniors prior to the match.Â

The UNI women's soccer team fell in the United Soccer Coaches poll this week, moving to No. 13.Â

In NCAA rankings, UNI is in the top-10 in shutout percentage at 70%. As a team, UNI is in the top-15 in save percentage at 87.5%. Goalkeeper Jami Reichenberger is tied for fourth in total shutouts with 7. Senior Sarah Brandt is tied for No. 2 on game-winning goals at four. Brandt and Reichenberger lead the MVC in those categories as well.
