HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner...Illinois state qualifier in 200 meter freestyle relay in 2007...team captain in 2009...all-conference in 200 meter freestyle and freestyle relays...holds high school 200 meter freestyle relay record...voted team MVP her senior year...team was conference champions in 2007, 2008 and 2009...also participated in track and cheerleading.
PERSONAL: Born April 6, 1992, in Galesburg, Ill....daughter of Andy and Elizabeth Varner...has one brother, Michael...chose UNI because of the campus and team...lists swimming, art, cheerleading and track as hobbies...majoring in leisure, youth and human services.
