Panther swimming and diving to face Iowa State, St. Thomas for senior day

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI swimming and diving team will celebrate their senior class this weekend as they welcome the Iowa State Cyclones and St. Thomas Tommies at the Glen F. Henry Pool in dual meet action
Competition is slated to start on Saturday with diving taking place at 10:30 a.m. CT and swimming taking place at 2 p.m. CT. Live results can be found on Meet Mobile (swimming) and Dive Meets (diving).
The Panthers will honor seven members of the senior class in their final home competition, including Sydney Aird, Abby Lear, Morgan Meyer, Hannah Nedder, Erica Peters and Cali Prochaska.
UNI last hit the pool at the Hawkeye Invitational in November where the Panthers saw multiple top-ten times in program history, including Elyse Brayton moving to eighth all-time in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.81). Charlotte Sander and Morgan Raether both moved to fifth and seventh respectively all-time with times of 23.17 and 23.29 in the 50-yard freestyle.
In the 100-yard butterfly Nikki Walters made her way into the top-ten list swimming a time of 56.54 as Neriah Giedrys and Aspen Cole moved into eighth and tenth all-time in the 100-yard breaststroke swimming times of 1:04.92 and 1:05.25. Raether also notched her way into fourth all-time for UNI in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.32.
In the diving well, one-meter action saw Addison Bausman score a 178.35 in the event with Eva Coonrad notching 177.75, Natalie Devoll (187.20), Erica Peters (234.15), Avery Hogan (229.15) and Trista Thompson at 212.60. The three-meter portion saw Bausman with a 218.55, Coonrad with a 189.35, with Devoll (207.80), Peters (242.35), Hogan close behind with a 242.10 and Thompson at 239.10 in the event.
Northern Iowa last faced the Cyclones in dual action last season where they dropped the meet by a score of 180-116, with the Panthers winning five events in the meet. UNI last took on the Tommies in 2022, where they claimed a dual win with a score of 188-55, improving to 4-0 all-time against the Tommies.
