Bio
2015: Started four games while appearing in 12… hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 15-11 win over Green Bay at the UNI-Dome Classic (2/7).
High School: Nicholson was named first-team all-state in 2013 and 2014 while hitting .423 and .398, respectively … all-conference selection four times at Winterset High School … helped lead Winterset to the state tournament three times … tied the single season home run record … set the record for slugging percentage in a single season … second-team all-state in 2012 … also lettered in basketball.
Personal: Daughter of Todd and Lisa Nicholson … born July 3, 1996, in Des Moines, Iowa … has one sibling; Jessie (12) … majoring in biochemistry.
