2015: First-team All-MVC honoree… named MVC Pitcher of the Week three times… honored as the MVC Player of the Week (5/4)... tossed her first career no-hitter in an 11-0 win over Loyola (3/21)... threw her second no-hitter of the season in an 8-0 win over Southern Illinois (3/28)... recorded six shutout wins in the circle… earned two one-hit victories… struck out a career-high 11 batters in a win over Drake (4/14)... set a new career-high for strikeouts in a season with 193… batted .271 at the plate while recording a .533 slugging percentage… tallied a team-high .347 batting average in conference play.
2014: Second-team All-MVC selection... appeared in 47 games… made 26 appearances as a pitcher while starting 18 games… tallied a 11-6 record on the mound with a 3.46 ERA… recorded 123 strikeouts in 129.1 innings… struck out 10 batters in seven innings during a 5-2 win against Indiana State (4/ 5)… hit a team-high nine home runs while driving in 27 runs… recorded a .957 fielding percentage… drove in five runs on two hits in a 7-3 win over Evansville (3/29).
Ross transferred to UNI from Oklahoma State.
Ross was named the Kansas City Metro Player of the Year as a prep pitcher.
As a high school senior, Ross tallied 18 wins and a 0.73 earned run average. She also earned first-team all-state, all-conference, all-district and all-region honors as a senior. Ross earned second-team all-state honors as a sophomore. She was a four-time all-conference, all-district and all-metro selection and was a three-time all-region choice.
Ross batted .426 with 12 home runs and 120 RBI in her prep career. She tallied 66 career wins with 676 strikeouts and a 1.17 earned run average as well.
Ross was also recruited by Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri State and Wichita State.
Ross is the daughter of Rhonda and the late Dan Ross. She plans to major in business at UNI.
