2013: Appeared in 23 games with 21 of the appearances coming as a pinch runner ... went 1-for-3 at the plate as a pinch hitter ... scored a run and knocked in a run in a 6-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/24) ... scored six runs as a pinch runner, including a run off Stanford in the NCAA Regional.
Personal: Born November 25, 1993 in Des. Moines, Iowa. Jordyn is the daughter of Brent and Tracy Brunssen... Two siblings (Leah, Nash)... Majoring in Pre-Nursing, Jordyn chose UNI because, "When I walked on campus I knew right away this was it. I loved the atmosphere and the way everything was setup, I had this good feeling about UNI."
High School: A graduate from Benton Community High School in Atkins, Iowa in 2012... A five year varsity letter recipient in softball, Jordyn also earned letters in Volleyball (2), track (1), and basketball (1). Received All-Conference honors in softball in 2008-2012 receiving honorable-mention all four years in the Wamac West athletic conference. Jordyn was also a member of the National Honor Society in 2011-2012. Jordyn's most memorable moment competing in high school athletics was earning the right to the State Basketball tournament two years in a row.
