CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — UNI Panther softball announced the addition of Kelsey Endress to the 2026 roster on Wednesday afternoon. A transfer pitcher from Florida Atlantic University, Endress comes to UNI after a three-year stint with the Owls.
While at FAU, Endress made 12 appearances in the circle and pitched 11.1 innings. The 5-10 senior struck out 10 batters of 59 faced with a career-high five strikeouts in six appearances in her sophomore campaign. The two-time AAC Regular-Season Champion and 2024 NFCA Academic All-American allowed just 15 hits and five runs for a 3.09 ERA in her tenure at FAU.
"We are very excited to add Kelsey to our program," said head coach Ryan Jacobs. "She brings a dynamic to our pitching staff that contrasts what we have. She's eager to learn and capitalize in her last season. We immediately knew personality and competitive nature fit our culture and bullpen."
Endress attended Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana where she was a two-sport athlete, competing in both volleyball and softball. A four-year varsity athlete on the softball field, Endress was ranked the #49 pitcher in the nation in the 2022 class and #140 overall during her senior season. In 2019, Endress led the Brownsburg Bulldogs to the program's second semi-state appearance, pitching all six postseason games after a 7-0 conference season and the program's first-ever Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship.
