2015: Batted .251 with a team-high three triples… one of three Panthers to start all 50 games… tallied 43 hits while driving in 17 runs… batted .316 in MVC play with 14 RBI… recorded 12 multi-hit games… went 3-4 while scoring two runs in an 8-7 win over Evansville (4/18).
2014: Appeared in 47 games while starting 46 games in the outfield and one game as a designated hitter… recorded an on-base percentage of .356 while batting .223… hit eight doubles and drove in 18 runs… recorded a team-high 23 walks… hit two home runs and drove in five runs in a 9-1 win over Missouri State (4/18).
2013: Appeared in 51 games and drew 50 starts as a true freshman ... she started 50 games in centerfield and had another start as the designated player ... led the team in hitting with a .317 batting average ... ranked second on the squad in slugging percentage (.453) ... ranked third on the team with 44 hits ... tallied 10 multi-hit games to rank third on the squad in that category ... tied for third on the squad with four home runs ... went 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI in an 8-2 win over Green Bay (2/9) in the UNI-Dome Classic ... tallied a season-high four RBI in a 9-1 victory over Santa Clara (3/9) ... went 3-for-3 vs. Stanford (5/18) in the NCAA Regional in Lincoln, Neb.
High School: A four year letter recipient in softball, Micalla also earned three letters in basketball. Micalla earned a number of honors throughout her softball career including four All-District teams, three of which were first team honors, a trio of first team All-District honors, and second team All-State honor following her senior season. Micalla's favorite high school memory was winning their teams memorial day tournament when she was a freshmen.
Personal: Daughter of Brenda and Steve ... born Nov. 24, 1993, in Kansas City, Kan. ... selected UNI because, "the school is a good fit me and offers everything I need to succeed."
