UNI women’s golf heads to Missouri for the Ozarks National Invitational

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI women's golf team is set to tee off the second tournament of its Spring season as they head down to Hollister, Missouri, for the Ozarks National Invitational.
Hosted by Missouri State on the 7,036-yard, par-71 course. The Panthers will compete against a 13-team field, including South Dakota State, Lindenwood, Drury, Merrimack, West Florida, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas El Paso, Missouri State, McLennan CC, South Dakota, Illinois State, Indiana State, and Oklahoma City.
Last season, UNI recorded a top-10 finish at the Ozarks National Invitational, placing seventh out of 13 teams. Two returners from that lineup, McKenna Mallow and Isabella Pettersen, bring experience back to the course, with Mallow finishing 63rd, shooting 248 (+32), and Pettersen tying for 68th with a score of 256 (+40).
Addison Berg led the Panther women in its previous tournament at the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada, finishing in 51st place with a 236 (+20). Jane Petersen finished right behind Berg in 53rd place, carding a 239 (+23). McKenna Mallow finished in a four-way tie for 54th place, shooting 240 (+24), while Isabella Pettersen finished in 59th place with a total score of 244 (+28). Greenlee Smock placed 61st, shooting a score of 247 (+31).
