UNI women’s golf secures a top-10 finish at the Ozarks National Invitational

HOLLISTER, Mo. -- The UNI women's golf team finished in ninth place out of 14 teams at the Ozarks National Invitational in Hollister, Missouri, on Wednesday afternoon. Missouri State took home the team title, shooting a team score of 904 (+40), while South Dakota's Ella Greenberg captured the individual title, shooting 220 (+4).
Isabella Pettersen led the Panthers, finishing in 27th place with a score of 235 (+19). Pettersen shot consistently, shooting 78-79-78 over the three-day tournament and carding three birdies. Addison Berg finished right behind Pettersen, placing 28th, shooting 236 (+20), shooting her best round score in round two with a 77 (+5). Berg sank five birdies with four of them coming in round one.
Jane Petersen finished in a four-way tie for 51st place, carding a 246 (+30). Petersen finished strong, shooting her best round score of the tournament in round three with an 80 (+8). Greenlee Smock placed in a tie for 61st place with a score of 249 (+33). Smock shot 84-83-82 and sank four birdies. McKenna Mallow finished in 71st place, shooting a score of 262 (+46), shooting an 85 (+13) in rounds one and three to finish out the tournament for the Panthers.
