UNI women’s golf places 10th at the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational

BOULDER CITY, Nevada — The UNI women's golf team finished in 10th place out of 10 teams at the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. UNLV took home the team title, shooting a team score of 852 (-12), while their own Pin Hsi Chen captured the individual title, shooting 207 (-9).
Addison Berg led the Panther ladies, finishing in 51st place with a score of 236 (+20). Berg shot 80-77-79 and carded four birdies to start her Spring season. Freshman Jane Petersen finished right behind Berg in 53rd place, shooting 239 (+23). Petersen finished strong, shooting her best round score in round three with a 77 (+5).
McKenna Mallow finished in a four-way tie for 54th place with a final score of 240 (+24) and sank three birdies. Isabella Pettersen finished in 59th place, shooting a 244 (+28), carding round scores of 79-82-83 over the two-day tournament. Greenlee Smock placed 61st with a final score of 247 (+31). Smock shot 85-82-80 to round out the Jackrabbit Invitational for the Panther women.
