UNI soccer announces 2026 spring schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI soccer team on Wednesday announced its four-match spring schedule set to kick off in late March.
Northern Iowa will open spring play on Saturday, Mar. 28 with a neutral site contest against North Dakota State in Richfield, Minnesota. The Panthers return to the Land of 10,000 Lakes the following weekend in Mankato to take on Minnesota State on Apr. 4, while visiting the Twins Cities on Apr. 18. UNI will close out the spring season on Apr. 25 with an in-state road match at Iowa State.
This will be the first spring season under the leadership of head coach Alex Place Thomas, who was named UNI's full-time head coach in November after leading the Panthers as interim head coach during the 2025 season.
Northern Iowa is expected to return a handful of contributors from last season's roster, as well as the addition of ten transfer signees during the offseason.

- Saturday, Apr. 4 at Minnesota State (Maverick All-Sports Dome | Mankato, Minn.) - 2:30 p.m. CT
- Saturday, Apr. 18 at Minnesota (Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium | Minneapolis, Minn.) - TBA
- Saturday, Apr. 25 at Iowa State (Cyclone Sports Complex | Ames, Iowa) - 3 p.m. CT
