UNI women's tennis to open 2025-26 season at Gopher Invitational

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team opens its 2025-26 season at the Gopher Invitational in Minneapolis, Minnesota, September 19-21. The tournament annually features top talent from across the Midwest, offering an early test for the Panthers as they begin a new campaign.
The Panthers return seniors Lasya Mylavarapu and Kanyanut Sudsaard. Along with Sophomores Andjela Raznatovic and Abbie Peterson. Both sophomores earned singles victories at last year's Gopher invitational, with Raznatovic also pairing for a doubles win.
Three freshmen new to the Purple and Gold, Sedina Begic, Yangjiaxin Li, and Alyssa Meeky, join the roster and are set to make their collegiate debuts.
