UNI tennis falls 0-7 to Bradley

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Bradley on Sunday afternoon at home, closing out a weekend that also saw the Panthers fall 7-0 to Illinois State on Saturday.

Bradley secured the doubles point with wins across all three courts. At No. 1 doubles, Lucia Schuknecht and Andjela Raznatovic were defeated 6-2, while Abbie Peterson and Yangjiaxin Li fell 6-3 at No. 2. Andrea Noa Galin and Kayla Santosa rounded out doubles play with a 6-2 loss at No. 3.

In singles action, UNI battled but was unable to capture a point. Raznatovic delivered the most competitive match of the day at the No. 1 position, pushing her opponent to three sets before falling 5-7, 7-5, 10-6. Schuknecht also fought hard at No. 2 singles, dropping a tight 6-4, 7-6 decision.

Yangjiaxin Li at No.3, Andrea Noa Galin at No. 4, and Sedina Begic at No. 5 each fell in straight sets, while Kayla Santosa dropped her match at No. 6 singles.
