Jensen leads UNI women’s golf to a top-10 finish at the Ozark National Invitational.

HOLLISTER, Mo. --- The UNI women's golf team finished play at the Ozark National Invitational on Wednesday afternoon, hosted by Missouri State with a seventh-place team finish.
UNI shot a team score of 945 (+81) in the 14-team field with South Dakota State capturing the team title scoring 897 (+33) and their own Piper Stubbs claiming the individual title shooting a final score of 220 (+4) over the three-day tournament.
The Panthers were led by Senior Anna Jensen, who finished in a tie for second place with a total score of 223 (+7), finishing strong with her best round score in the third round carding a 72. Jensen also tallied nine birdies and 12 bogeys. Anna Nacos placed in a three-way tie for 29th place with a final score of 239 (+23), shooting a consistent three rounds in the tournament with 81-79-79. Victoria Hualde finished in a seven-way tie for 39th place with a score of 241 (+25), with her best score in round one with a 78.
Junior McKenna Mallow finished in 63rd place shooting a score of 248 (+32), with three birdies and 19 bogeys. Freshman Isabella Pettersen placed in a three-way tie for 68th with a score of 256 (+40), with two birdies and 23 bogeys to finish the tournament.

The UNI women return to action April 4-5 at the WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
