UNI soccer: Six selected to CSC Academic All-District Team for 2025

GREENWOOD, Ind. --- Six members of the UNI soccer team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for the 2025 season, as announced by CSC on Tuesday.
The CSC (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom across NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as NAIA.
This year's Panther honorees include Sophia Balistreri, Olivia Bohl, Macy Smith, Allison Flies, Olivia Knoepfle and Kylie Knief.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, post a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) and compete in at least 90% of their team's matches that season or start at least 66% of those matches.
Knoepfle, Smith and Balistreri all wrapped up their senior seasons with Third Team All-MVC honors, with Knoepfle, Smith, Bohl and Knief also earning MVC Scholar-Athlete Team selections this year. Additionally, Flies earned MVC Freshman of the Week honors on Sept. 30.
