CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI swimming and diving team returns to the pool this weekend as it heads to Vermillion, South Dakota for the Coyote Extravaganza at the USD Wellness Center.

The two-day meet will feature the teams from Sioux Falls, St. Cloud State, South Dakota State, and South Dakota in a multi-scored dual competition. Competition is scheduled to begin on Friday evening at 6 p.m. CT, followed by Saturday's action starting at 10 a.m. CT.

This weekend's meet will be the Panthers' first since dropping their season-opening dual at Iowa on Oct. 10 by a score of 224-74. In their loss to the Hawkeyes, sophomore Sam Oeltjen claimed second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.78) as Hannah Nedder took second in the 100-yard butterfly at 58.47. Other notable finishes include Molly Johnson taking second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:14.92), as the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Abby Lear, Morgan Meyer, Morgan Raether, and Nedder took second in the event with a time of 3:32.99.

On the boards, Avery Hogan took third place in the three-meter boards for the Panthers with a score of 268.25 and fourth in the one-meter boards (237.45) as Erica Peters claimed fifth in the event (233.65).
