Panther women's golf tees off spring season at Jackrabbit Invitational

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI women's golf heads west to begin its spring season in Boulder City, Nevada at the Jackrabbit Invitational, hosted by South Dakota State University.
The Panthers will play at Boulder Creek Golf Club, March 11-12 on the par-72, 7,402-yard course. Northern Iowa will be joined by a pair of Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) challengers in Murray State and Bradley, while also taking on Kent State, Florida International, St. Thomas, North Dakota and Appalachian State.
The Panthers ended their fall season placing second as a team in the Braun Intercollegiate in Evansville, after falling short of a team title in a one-hole playoff. Sophomore Victoria Hualde led UNI by placing fourth in the tournament, and posting an average score of 77.6 in the fall season. Anna Jensen tied for fifth at the Braun Intercollegiate and also led the Panthers in the first five tournaments with a 76.3 average score.
Freshman Addison Berg will be competing as an individual to start her spring season after carding a season-best 77 in the second round of the Braun Intercollegiate. Anna Nacos, Allison Nuss and McKenna Mallow are also expected to compete at the Jackrabbit Invitational to start their spring season.
