FINAL RESULTS

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — UNI men's golf wrapped up play on Tuesday afternoon at the Zach Johnson Invitational, taking tenth place in a packed 13-team field at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines.

The Panthers were led by redshirt senior Griffin Parker shooting 69 (-2), 71 (E) and 79 (+8) for a 219 (+6) during the two-day competition, putting him in a tie for 26th place. Senior Jack Moody carded a 221 (+8) over the course of the three-round tournament, scoring a 72 (+1), 70 (-1) and 79 (+8) in a tie for 31st.

J.D. Pollard had a very impressive third round on Tuesday carding seven birdies in a row on the front nine for a 68 (-3), scoring a 222 (+9) and finishing in a tie for 33rd. Brandon McCarty, competing as an individual, tied for 35th place after shooting three solid rounds of 74 (+3), 73 (+2) and 76 (+5), totalling 223 (+10).

Connor Van Weelden took tied for 57th place carding 77 (+6), 75 (+4) and 77 (+5) for a 229 (+16) total score, while Tanner Dinnibier notched a 238 (+25) for a 71st place finish in his second collegiate outing.

UP NEXT
UNI will return to action with two back-to-back tournaments next week, beginning with the Big O Classic at the Indian Creek Golf Course in Elkhorn, Nebraska, hosted by Omaha on Monday and Tuesday. The Panthers will also compete in a dual with Drake on Wednesday at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club.
