UNI vs. Western Illinois - 2 p.m.
THE PANTHERS:
- The Panthers had their first tie of the season on Tuesday, August 24th against St. Thomas in the Tommies first Division 1 soccer game.
- Panthers forward Ashley Harrington had the most shots on the team against St. Thomas with 4 shots and 2 of those ending up on goal.
- Panthers goalkeeper Caitlin Richards was the only goalkeeper to face any shots on goal by St. Thomas on Tuesday. Goalkeeper Brittney Bentheimer played 65 minutes but faced no shots.
- Five Panther players had multiple shots on Tuesday including starters Lizzie Mewes, Ashley Harrington, and Lily Caso, along with subs Izzy Minshall and Maddie Eastus.
THE LEATHERNECKS
- The Fighting Leathernecks have been shutout in both of their regular season contests so far despite scoring 12 goals in an exhibition game against Southeastern Community College.
