Panther Golf Finished Day Two at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

SEVIERVILLE, Tennessee - The UNI men and women's golf teams had their second day in Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, with the women shooting 320 and the men with 302.
The women moved down one spot into 5th place and 39 strokes behind first place, Eastern Kentucky. The men's team is in 10th place but only 23 strokes behind the leading team of UT-Martin.
Leading for the women's team is freshman Allison Nuss with a total of 155 and in a tie for 15th followed by Hailey and Hannah Bermel with a 156 in a tie for 20th. Nuss recorded a team low 79 along with Hailey Bermel while Hannah Bermel came in with a 80. After finishing with a 75 Sydney Eaton carded an 82 and Emily Snelling carded a 82.
The leader of the men's team is Griffin Parker with a total of 142 and then Carter Stochl with a 148. Parker finished day two with another 71 and is in a tie for 11th. Stochl carded a 76 and Ben Bermel finished with 77. Tommey Doyle finished with a second round 78 and Jack Moody carded a 80.
The Panthers move into their third and final day on Tuesday with the men teeing off at 8:40 and the women teeing off at 8:30 ET.
