The Panthers:
• The Panthers travel to Birmingham, AL on Friday, February 26th - Sunday, February 28th to participate in the Samford Tournament. The Panthers will face off against both Samford University and University of Louisiana at Monroe twice.
•. Kaylin Packard picked up her first win of the 2021 season in game two of the Lipscomb double header Wednesday February 24th. Packard threw a complete game, striking out ten, walking none, and only allowing one run.
• Sammey Bunch homered in two straight games tallying her fifth home run of the season and four in the past three games. On the season, Bunch has a .421 batting average, totaled ten hits, ten RBI's, six runs, eight putouts with a fielding percentage of .903.
• The Panthers went 2-3 in the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic to open the season. UNI then split with Lipscomb to bring their overall record to 3-3 heading into the Samford Tournament.
