UNI Softball Set To Take On Lipscomb

Cedar Falls, Iowa – The Panthers softball team now travel to Nashville, Tennessee to take on the Bison of Lipscomb for a doubleheader Feb. 24. The first pitch is set to be delivered at 3:00 p.m. CT followed by the second game starting at 5:30 p.m. The Bison have an overall record of 3-2 while the Panthers are 2-2 and will be looking for their first winning streak of the season.
Senior shortstop Sammey Bunch will look to stay hot at the plate following 5 hits, 3 home runs, 6 RBI, weekend in the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic Feb. 12-14. Sammy Moss and Taylor Hogan also look to continue to stay present at the plate with four hits a piece two weekends ago.
On the hill Hannah Kelley picked up both of the Panthers wins while posting a team low 2.84 ERA and only walking one.
