
Bermel named MVC Golfer of the Week, Women’s Golf Closes Season in the Ozarks

BRANSON, Missouri - The UNI women's golf team competed in the Ozarks National Invitational last week in Branson, Missouri.
The Panthers played 54 holes over three days of competition, and finished in 13th place, shooting rounds of 319, 310, and 325. This was the last fall tournament for the team.

Leading the Panthers was senior Hannah Bermel. Bermel fired rounds of 74-74-78 for a 54-total of 226. Anna Jensen carded rounds of 78-77-73 for a total of 228. Lily Bredemeier carded a 54-hole total of 248 and Allison Nuss finished with a 250. Madison Humke shot a 3-day total of 256 and Rylie Driskell finished with a 260.
Hannah Bermel was also named Missouri Valley Conference golfer of the week for her performance at the tournament. Bermel tied for 21st overall to lead all MVC golfers in the event.
