UNI women’s golf set for Stampede at the Creek in Nebraska

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The UNI women's golf team travels to Elkhorn, Nebraska, this week to compete in the Stampede at the Creek.
This year's Stampede at the Creek will consist of two rounds with an opening 18 holes on Monday and 18 more holes for round two on Tuesday, April 14th. Live results will be made available online through Scoreboard.
Set on the par-72, 7,569-yard course, this year's field features nine teams: Indian Hills CC, Creighton University, South Dakota, Iowa Western CC, Drake, North Dakota, Nebraska Omaha, and Wichita State.
The Panther women are coming off a ninth-place finish at the Ozarks National Invitational in Hollister, Missouri. Sophomore Isabella Pettersen led the team, posting a 235 (+19) to finish in 27th place. Addison Berg finished right behind Pettersen, placing 28th with a 236 (+20). Jane Petersen finished in a four-way tie for 51st place, shooting 246 (+30), while Greenlee Smock tied for 61st, carding a 249 (+33). Rounding out the lineup, McKenna Mallow recorded a 262 (+46) to finish 71st.
