Panther Cross Country Records Season-Best Times at Bradley Pink Classic

Peoria, Ill. – Twelve Panthers finished with season-best times to lead the UNI cross country men to a sixth-place finish and the women to a 15th-place finish Friday at the Bradley Pink Classic.
The entire men's team all recorded season-best times led by Wal Khat leads with a time of 24:51.0 to finish eighteenth overall. CJ May finished 29th with a time of 24:57.9. Redshirt sophomore Drake Henrichs ran a time of 25:11.5 to finish 40th, junior Logan Murray finished 49th with a time of 25.21.0. Freshman David Holesinger finished 82nd with a time of 25:53.1, his season-best by over two minutes. Sam McCool finished with a time of 25:58.0 and Andrew Kephart finished with a time of 26:51.4.
McKayla Cole finished ninth with the season's best time of 21:21.2. Freshman Cassidy Ihns finished 24th with a time of 21:54.1 a season-best by nearly two minutes. Paige Holub finished with a time of 23:17.5, Haylee Luna recorded a time of 23:52.1 and Josie Kriener recorded a time of 23:52.7.
The next race for UNI is the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Championship, which will take place on Nov. 2 in Valparaiso, Indiana.
