CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will return home to face Northern Illinois before traveling to take on in-state rival, Iowa State.

The Huskies of Northern Illinois come to town on Sept. 14 for the fifth meeting between the two teams. UNI was victorious in last season's meeting, earning a 3-2 victory. The Huskies recorded their first victory of the season against Eastern Illinois. Goalkeeper Megan Donnally leads the MAC in saves and is fourth in save percentage.

The Panthers will travel to Iowa State Sept. 16 for an afternoon match-up between the teams. UNI is looking for their first win against Iowa State. Iowa State has wins against South Dakota State and Iowa this season, both at home. The Cyclones are led by Emily Steil, Kasey Opfer, and Courtney Powell with two goals each. Goalkeeper Dayja Schwichtenberg has faced 114 shots on the year, allowing 12 goals.
