CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will return home to face Northern Illinois before traveling to take on in-state rival, Iowa State.

The Huskies of Northern Illinois come to town on Sept. 14 for the fifth meeting between the two teams. UNI was victorious in last season's meeting, earning a 3-2 victory. The Huskies recorded their first victory of the season against Eastern Illinois. Goalkeeper Megan Donnally leads the MAC in saves and is fourth in save percentage.

The Panthers will travel to Iowa State Sept. 16 for an afternoon match-up between the teams. UNI is looking for their first win against Iowa State. Iowa State has wins against South Dakota State and Iowa this season, both at home. The Cyclones are led by Emily Steil, Kasey Opfer, and Courtney Powell with two goals each. Goalkeeper Dayja Schwichtenberg has faced 114 shots on the year, allowing 12 goals.

The Panthers have had four scorers in Kelsey Yarrow, Sydney Hayden, Sophia Conant and Jordyn Rolli with one goal each. The Panthers have four goals on the season, compared to six goals from their opponents. The Panthers and their opponents are tied for shot percentage at .053, as UNI averages 10.7 shots/game.

Senior goalkeeper Jami Reichenberger has defended the net 52 times, with a save percentage of .897. Reichenberger has three shutouts on the year, compared to four for UNI's opponents.

Last Time in Action

The Panthers lost a close battle (2-1) against North Dakota State in Fargo Sept. 9. Hayden was the lone scorer for UNI, off an assist from Rolli.

The Panthers will look for the first win against the Iowa State Cyclones on Sunday, where the teams meet for the 12th time in program history.
Jami Reichenberger is fifth in the nation with total saves at 52 saves this season. Reichenberger leads the MVC in saves per game at 7.43. Reichenberger leads the MVC in all six goalkeeping categories.
As a team, UNI leads the MVC in goals allowed at .86 goals/game.
UNI is tied with Missouri State for three shutouts on the season, second to only Indiana State (4).
Kelsey Yarrow is 3rd in the MVC in shots per game with 19, averaging 2.71 per game.

Sophia Conant and Jami Reichenberger were named the MVC Newcomer and Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the MVC for the Week of Aug 27.
