CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI wrestling returns to the Las Vegas Invite for the first time since the 2016 season.
Last time at the tournament, the Panthers finished 12th as a team and returned with three medalists. Josh Alber took fifth at 133 pounds. Bryce Steiert was sixth at 157 pounds, and Cooper Moore was eighth at 165 pounds.
Alber and Drew Foster are the only Panthers are on the current roster that have competed at this tournament. Jacob Holschlag is expected to compete for the first time this year.
Some Panthers are expected to be in the seedings expected to be released later today.
Teams are only allowed 10 competitors:
