CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—With a 2-0 start to the conference season, the University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will travel to Missouri State for a 2 p.m. match-up on Oct. 7.
The Panthers are having one of the best starts to program history. The Panthers have won eight shutouts this season and tied the number of wins in program history at 10.

In their last matches, the Panthers posted victories against Evansville and Viterbo. Â UNI defeated Evansville, 3-1 before capturing their eighth shutout of the season against Viterbo.

Senior Sarah Brandt and juniors Brynell Yount and Jami Reichenberger are all ranked for NCAA soccer. Brandt is in the top-10 for game-winning goals at four. Reichenberger is tied at the No. 4 spot for shutouts with 8. Yount is in the top-15 in goals per game, averaging a 0.78.Â

The Panthers are ranked at No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches poll for the Midwest Region. This is the fifth week that the Panthers have been ranked.
In NCAA rankings, the Panthers are in the top-10 in Shutout Percentage at 66.7%. UNI is in the top-10 for Win-Loss-Tie percentage at 87.5%.Â
