CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—With a 2-0 start to the conference season, the University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will travel to Missouri State for a 2 p.m. match-up on Oct. 7.

The Panthers are having one of the best starts to program history. The Panthers have won eight shutouts this season and tied the number of wins in program history at 10.

In their last matches, the Panthers posted victories against Evansville and Viterbo. UNI defeated Evansville, 3-1 before capturing their eighth shutout of the season against Viterbo.

Senior Sarah Brandt and juniors Brynell Yount and Jami Reichenberger are all ranked for NCAA soccer. Brandt is in the top-10 for game-winning goals at four. Reichenberger is tied at the No. 4 spot for shutouts with 8. Yount is in the top-15 in goals per game, averaging a 0.78.

Scouting the Bears

The Bears enter the match with a record of 5-9, 1-2 (MVC).
In the Panthers last meeting with the Bears, the Panthers posted a 1-0 victory of the Bears in Waterloo.
Overall, the Bears lead the series 5-17.
