Panthers Suffer First Road Loss

Springfield, Missouri—The Panthers suffered their first road loss of the season, falling to Missouri State this afternoon 1-0.
Missouri State's Ashley Coonfield got the ball past goalkeeper Jami Reichenberger in the 20th minute of action.
UNI outshot the Bears, 19 to 15. Hannah McDevitt led the Panthers with five shots. Brynell Yount and Morgan Teel each had three shots.
Missouri State extends the series lead to 18-5 with their win today and snaps UNI's three-game winning streak.
UNI returns to action, traveling to in-state rival Drake on Oct. 10 for a 7 p.m. match-up.
