The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball team returns to the McLeod Center for a pair of games on Feb. 5 and Feb. 7. UNI will take on co-MVC leader Missouri State on Friday at 7 p.m. and then host Wichita State on Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Series: Missouri State leads the all-time series between the Lady Bears and the Panthers, 25-45. While MSU dominated the 1980s and 1990s, UNI has held a commanding presence in recent years against the Lady Bears. The Panthers were on a five-game winning streak against MSU heading into last season and have picked up wins in 10 of the last 12 games, including a 65-60 win on the road against the Bears this season.

Closing in: After scoring 18 points against Bradley, Madison Weekly is just 20 points away from reaching 1,000 career points. She has scored in double-figures in six consecutive games and 18 times this year.
Dishing Dimes: Sharnae Lamar finished the game against Loyola with a game-high 10 assists. It is the second consecutive game she has had 10-or-more assists and the third game this season she has reached the mark. She is averaging 5.6 a game this year, ranking her third all-time in season assists average.
Home Sweet Home: The UNI women's basketball team is currently 87-45 all-time inside the McLeod Center. The Panthers are also 77-43 inside their home arena under the direction of Tanya Warren.

During the month of July, Warren traveled overseas with Team USA for the tournament, eventually defeating Canada in the championship game for Gold.
Valley on ESPN3: ESPN and the Missouri Valley Conference have announced a 10-year extension to their current media rights agreement that will provide increased coverage of conference events across ESPN platforms through the 2023-24 academic year. As part of the deal, ESPN, the MVC and its 10 member institutions will work jointly to develop in-house production capabilities at each campus that will provide significant national coverage for multiple sports on ESPN3 and hands-on educational opportunities for students. As a result, ESPN3 will showcase a minimum of 820 events a year (a minimum of 70 men's basketball) in the final six years of the agreement.
