The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa hosts the Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers in its home opener on Sunday, Nov. 20. The game is set to tip off at 2 p.m. CT in the McLeod Center with Brad Wells and Jacqui Kalin calling the action on ESPN3.
The Series: UNI and Wisconsin-Parkside have never met before, starting a new series between the two teams.
Game Promotion: Fans can bring a canned food item to the ticket office to receive a $1 ticket to the game. All canned food items will be donated to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
About Wisconsin-Parkside: The Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers head into the weekend 0-2 overall with one game left to play before taking on the Panthers on Sunday. The Rangers fell to Saginaw Valley state (77-46) to open the season and then suffered their second loss to Northwood University (67-42) on Nov. 13. They play Hillsdale College on Saturday, Nov. 19 before heading to Cedar Falls. They are led by senior guard Brittney Fair, who is averaging 11.5 points per game .

Back-to-Back: Sophomore Ellie Herzberg has scored in double figures in back-to-back games, putting in 12 points, three boards and two assists against Iowa State (11/15). Through two games, she is ranked No. 4 in the league in scoring, averaging 17.0 points per game.
Double-Double: Senior Hannah Schonhardt stole the show with her performance against Iowa State (11/15), finishing the game with 10 points, 12 boards, an assist and two blocks. It was her sixth career double-double and her 100th-career game in the Purple and Old Gold. She is one of just 47 women's basketball players in UNI history to play in 100 career games.
Senior Success: Angie Davison scored a career-high 12 points against Iowa State, beating her previous best of 10 set against Evansville last season.
Dime Game: Through two games, Madison Weekly is averaging 6.0 assists per game thanks to her career-high seven dimes against Iowa State (11/15).
In Good Company: Hannah Schonhardt's double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) against Iowa State (11/15) makes her just one of 30 players in the country that have recorded a double-double so far this season.
Rebounds on Rebounds: Eight of Hannah Schonhardt's 12 rebounds against Iowa State (11/15) were on the defensive end of the court, moving her into 13th all-time at UNI in career defensive rebounds and No. 9 in career defensive rebound average (4.0).
