UNI's Hosch Destroys 800m School Record

The previous indoor 800m school record of 2:09.00 had been held by Emily Montgomery since 1996.
Based on performances entering this weekend, Hosch posted the seventh-fastest time in the country this season. She now holds the indoor and outdoor school records in the 800m at UNI.

The UNI women's 4x400m relay quartet of Ellen Kindelsperger, Hosch, Michaela Brungardt and Sam Cameron posted the second-fastest indoor 4x400 in UNI history, taking second place in 3:42.87.
Junior Aaron Stockstell was fifth in the 800m run, crossing the line in 1:51.75. Brady Fritz was tenth with a time of 1:52.67. Fritz and Stockstell now hold the top two 800m performances in the MVC this season.
Sophomore Thibault Vandenabeele made his season debut, taking 10th place in the 3,000m run with a time of 8:32.24 – the fastest time by a UNI runner this season.
