Lane Luhring joins the UNI tennis coaching staff as an assistant coach. As a native of Parkersburg, Luhring advanced to the state playoffs three times with Aplington-Parkersburg, winning the championship his senior season.
Luhring played collegiately at Quincy University (IL), serving as a team captain for four years. Luhring began his coaching career at Wartburg College from 2015-2018. At Wartburg, Luhring was part of the staff that earned Coaching Staff of the Year in the American Rivers Conference in 2018.
Luhring earned a degree in business management from Quincy. Luhring and his wife live in Waverly.
