2020 INDOOR: Competed at the Jimmy Grant Invite (12/14), the Hawkeye Invitational (1/10), and the Jack Jennett Open (1/23)… Recorded a personal best in the 200 meters with a time of 22.59 at the Black and Gold Premier (1/31)… Competed at the Iowa State Classic (2/14)… Placed second in the 60 meters at the Liz Wuertz Indoor Invitational (2/22)… Competed in the 60 meters at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/29).
2019 OUTDOOR: Won the 200-meters at the Jim Duncan Invite (March 30)… Recorded a personal-best of 22.00 in the 200 at the Husker Spring Invite (April 6)… Finished second as a member of the 4x100 relay and competed in the 100 at the Husker Spring Invite…Competed in the 100 at the Musco Twilight (April 13)… Recorded a personal-best of 10.88 in the 100 at the Tom Botts Invite (April 20)… Finished first as a member of the 4x100 relay and fifth in the 100 at the Tom Botts Invite… Competed as a member of the 1600 sprint medley relay and the 4x100 relay at the Drake Relays (April 27)… Placed second as a member of the 4x100 relay at the MVC Championship (May 12) and competed in the 100… Qualified for the NCAA DI West Regionals as a member of the 4x100 relay.
2018-19 INDOOR: Finished fourth at the Bison Team Cup in the 60 with a time of 7.04… Finished second at the Jack Jennett Open in the 60 with a time of 6.97… Won at the Badger Red & White Classic in the 60 with a time of 7.04… Won at the 2019 Jim Duncan Invitational in the 200 with a time of 21.86W.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ankeny Centennial and made All-Conference in track all four years ... school record holder in the 100, 200 and 60 ... State Champion in the 4x200.
PERSONAL: Son of Julie and Jeff Van Baale ... Has one brother ... studying psychology here at UNI ... enjoys golfing and hanging with friends.
