2010: Batted .267 for the Panthers in 2010 while appearing in 46 games and starting 38 of them at either DH or Catcher. Courtney led the Panthers with 14 home runs on the year as well as knocking in 33 RBIs. She twice matched her season best with a home run and 4 RBI's at Bradley and Iowa.
2009: Played in six games, starting four ... finished 1-of-1 against Drake (May 3) ... recorded two put-outs and two assists against Nebraska (April 22).
High School: Won a state title in 2008 ... set the Lincoln Way Central home run record with eight blasts in 2008 ... served as team captain ... four-year varsity starter ... four-year all-conference performer ... set a school record for home runs in a season (9) as a senior ... named to the Illinois State High School Elite Team ... earned Chicago Tribune All-Area Special Mention and Chicago Sun-Times All-Area Third team as a senior ... member of the student council her freshman and sophomore year ... member of National Honor Society ... honor roll student ... high school coach: Richard Mandella.
Personal: Born March 27, 1990 in Oak Lawn, Ill ... daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Dunker ... has four siblings (Brooke, Henry, Jill and Tiff) ... majoring in move and exercise science (pre-physical therapy) ... chose UNI because she liked the atmosphere and the people were super nice ... also recruited by Winona State, Lewis University, Aurora University and University of Wisconsin-Parkside ... enjoys hanging with friends, shopping and playing sports in her free time.
