2012: Played in nine games during the season and started two … finished with 44 receiving yards … recorded a touchdown against Central State (9/8) … caught a season-long 20 yard catch against Missouri State (11/17) … notched a tackle against Wisconsin (9/1) and South Dakota (11/10) while on special teams.
2011: Saw action in five games for the Panthers primarily on special teams ... recorded three total tackles ... tallied two solo stops in the MVFC clinching 23-20 overtime victory at Illinois State (11/19) ... recovered a fumble in the end zone on Wofford's kick return in the fourth quarter to help UNI to a 28-21 FCS playoff win in the UNI-Dome (12/3).

2009: Redshirted.
High School: Possessed the ability to change games with his speed and natural athletic ability as both a return specialist and running back as a prep ... returned two kickoffs and two interceptions for touchdowns in 2008 ... after fumbling a kickoff in the Sioux Falls Washington game that led to a touchdown, Wright returned the ensuing kickoff back for a 98 yard touchdown, then on the next play from scrimmage on defense he intercepted a ball and ran it back for a 65-yard touchdown ... high school coach: Steve Kueter.
Personal: Son of Dwaine (Tex) and Sheila Wright ... father, Dwaine, played fullback at Arizona State for head coach Frank Kush ... majoring in criminology.
