2022 OUTDOOR: Placed eighth in the 100-meter dash at the Jim Duncan with a time of 12.78 ... earned a spot on the MVC Honor Roll for a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
2022 INDOOR: Placed fifth in the 60 meter dash with a 8.14 second time at the Jack Jennett Invitational (Jan. 21).
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time Iowa high school state champion with two 4x100 titles and one in the 4x200 ... finished third in the 100-meter dash as a senior for Dubuque Wahlert ... was part of a team that won the 3A team title as a senior ... was a two-time Drake Relays participant ... was named to the National Honors Society ... also competed in swimming and diving as a sprinter and wrestled ... also recruited by the University of South Dakota, University of Sioux Falls and Wartburg.
PERSONAL: From East Dubuque, Illinois ... daughter of Greg and Fedia Yaklich ... siblings are Aiden and Amia ... majoring in psychology ... was part of the youth philanthropy group called YAPPERS in my hometown ... went on a mission trip freshman year of high school to Georgia and to Costa Rica as a sophomore in high school to build a house ... received the servant cord at her high school for completing 250 hours of service.
