UNI women’s golf heads South for The Lady Clerico in Oklahoma

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI women's golf team is set to compete in The Lady Clerico Invitational in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, hosted by Oral Roberts University.
Scheduled for Sept. 15-16 at the Hillcrest Country Club, this course sits at 6,662 yards and a par-72. This year's Lady Clerico will consist of two rounds: 36 holes on Monday, with an 8:00 a.m. CT shotgun start, and 18 holes on Tuesday, teeing off at 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start.
The Panthers will face off against a 12-team field, including Oral Roberts, Drake, East Texas A&M University, Stephen F. Austin State, Texas Rio Grande Valley, Texas at El Paso, Lamar, Oklahoma State, Northern Colorado, Abilene Christian, Southern Mississippi, and Houston Christian.
Northern Iowa is coming off an eighth-place finish at the Jayhawk Invitational, shooting a final team score of 958 (+94). The Panthers were led by Jane Petersen, finishing in a three-way tie for 19th place, carding a score of 230 (+14). Addison Berg placed in a tie for 22nd place, shooting a 232 (+16). McKenna Mallow finished in 47th place with a score of 250 (+34).
Hannah Graves finished right behind Berg in 48th place, shooting a total score of 252 (+36). Greenlee Smock placed in a tie for 51st place, shooting a 256 (+40), and Isabella Pettersen finished in 56th place with a score of 273 (+57), competing as an individual.
